"Our weekend in "le petit nid" was amazing. Sarah greeted us with a warm fire and a bright smile as she showed us around her gorgeous restored watermill. Warm, cozy, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the bubbling stream that flows through the backyard, this mountain retreat was perfect for our family. Each room had its own charm, with 2 en-suite bedrooms on the first floor and 2 large rooms in the former attic. My husband and I stayed in the top room which was huge, with exposed beams and a great view of the mountains. The library was stocked with a great selection of books in English for snowy (or rainy, which unfortunately was the case for us) days. Decent-sized villages are within a 10-minute drive for anything you might need. Although we only got to stay for 2 nights, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to travel as a couple, with friends, or with children. It could easily accommodate up to 8 people.
